Fire Prevention Education
Fire Prevention Education visits—either at your school or at one of our fire stations—can be scheduled using the links below or by calling (203) 261-3912.
Visits are available during the following dates and times:
- May 1 – June 15, 2026
- September 1 – November 20, 2026
- Between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM

All visits are subject to volunteer availability.
Program Details by Age Group
- Under Age 2: We are unable to accommodate visits for this age group.
- Ages 2–3: A brief visit (approximately 10 minutes) to meet firefighters and see a fire engine.
- Ages 4–12: A short, age-appropriate fire prevention lesson and activity. If time and weather permit, participants may also view fire apparatus outside.
Younger children will receive coloring books to take home, encouraging continued fire safety discussions with their families.
